What you can expect from Skinparency, and what we expect from you.
By using Skinparency you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it.
Our verdicts, scores and callouts are our opinions, formed from published ingredient lists, brand claims, publicly available testing where it exists, and aggregated user reports. Formulas change, labels contain errors, and community samples are small. We state our confidence and sources on each product for exactly that reason.
Brands: if you believe a rating rests on out-of-date or incorrect data, email corrections@skinparency.com with the current ingredient list or test report and we'll review it.
You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. One account per person. You can close your account at any time from your account page.
You must be 16 or over to hold an account or post content. Contributions must be your own honest experience. You must not post content that is:
Our community content policy sets out the full rules, how we moderate, our response times and how to appeal a decision. You keep ownership of what you post and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, aggregate and adapt it for the service. We may edit, refuse or remove contributions, and suspend accounts that break these rules.
To report a review, use the Report control under it on the product page, or email report@skinparency.com with the product and what's wrong. Illegal content is prioritised and actioned as quickly as we can, normally within 24 hours of us becoming aware of it.
The Skinparency name, design, written guides, ratings and scoring methodology are ours. You may quote short extracts with a link back. Systematic copying, scraping or republishing of the catalogue or ratings is not permitted.
Some retailer links earn us a commission. This never changes a verdict or a product's position — see our disclosures. Prices and stock are set by the retailer and may be out of date. Your purchase is a contract with that retailer, not with us.
The service is provided "as is". We don't guarantee that ratings, ingredient lists, prices or availability are complete, current or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for loss arising from reliance on the service. We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be excluded. Nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.
