What this is

A rating service, not a review blog.

Skinparency is an independent skincare rating service. We read the ingredient list of every product we cover, work out what the formula can realistically do, and pair that with how it actually feels on real skin — texture, stickiness, whitecast, sting, and everything else the marketing copy leaves out.

Every product page shows the reasoning behind its verdict, including where our confidence is low. When a brand doesn't disclose an active's concentration, we say so rather than inventing a number.

Independence

How we stay independent

  • No sponsorships. We take no payment, gifting, or editorial input from brands, and never will.
  • No paid placement. Ranking is decided by the rating logic alone. Money cannot move a product up a list.
  • Ad-free. There is no advertising anywhere on the site.
  • Disclosed retailer links. Some "where to buy" links may earn a small commission. They never affect a score, and we label them.

The full method is written up in How we know this.
