Brands: correct our data, or reply on the record.

If we've got a fact wrong, we want to fix it — fast and for free. If we've got an opinion you disagree with, you can have your say next to it.

How this works

Facts, opinions, and your reply

Skinparency separates two different things, and it matters for what we can do for you.

  • Facts — the ingredient list, SPF and PA labelling, size, price, availability. If any of these is wrong or out of date, send evidence and we correct it, usually within a few days, at no cost.
  • Opinions — our verdicts, scores, confidence tiers and skin-type fit calls. These are our honest opinion, formed by applying the published criteria in How we know this to the facts on file. We won't withdraw an opinion because a brand dislikes it, but we will re-run it the moment the underlying facts change.
  • Your reply — where you disagree with an opinion, send us a short statement. We publish it on the product page next to the rating, attributed to you and unedited except for length and legality.

We take no payment, samples, or affiliate money in exchange for a score. See disclosures.

Commitments

What you can expect from us

  • We acknowledge every brand request and give you a named outcome, including "no change" with our reasoning.
  • Factual corrections with a verifiable source are applied without argument.
  • While a substantive dispute is open, the disputed line carries a "brand dispute under review" note.
  • A corrected page shows what changed and when.
  • Correcting an error never buys a better score, and refusing to engage never costs you one.
  • We don't publish personal contact details from these submissions.
